During his time at Framestore Labs Stuart Batchelor and the team were tasked with creating and developing a unique Christmas 2017 installation in the heart of London, Piccadilly Circus.
Conjured up by the good folks over at Cheil London for the Xmas launch of the new Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch . The piece, comprised of a circular stage atop 8 dazzling LED walls, involved a different worldwide choir singing each night in the 24 day run up to Christmas - with bio-metric data gathered from their Gear S3's and microphones driving the live visuals.
Stuart's particular role involved the development and creation of the centre-piece reactive visuals played for the hour long performance every night. Through a combination of talent and gear behind the doors at Framestore Labs and Cheil this installation won Gold for the Best Use of Experiential Technology at the Campaign Creative Tech Awards.
